Delinquency Example

  1. Resident fails to pay rent on time and incurs late fees.
  2. Property Manager offers NPS as solution to late payment problem.
  3. Property Manager explains NPS benefits and helps resident complete NPS application; provides NPS direct deposit form.
  4. Resident requests direct deposit from their employer.
  5. NPS notifies Property Manager when funds are received.
  6. If resident elects not to contract with NPS, Property Manager takes normal course of action.
  7. NPS forwards rent payment, including funds to cover delinquent rent, as agreed upon by resident and landlord.
